  • Diverse Tank Options: The LAbREED system is offered in three sizes of polycarbonate tanks —2 liters, 4.5 liters, and 9 liters—that provide flexibility to meet various research needs.
  • Advanced Self-Cleaning Mechanism: The tanks feature an adult baffle design with a vertical tube that creates a self-cleaning flow, effectively removing settleable solids and maintaining a clean environment for zebrafish.
  • Optimized Solids Removal: The tanks and racks are equipped with a 5-degree slope towards the vertical tube drain, significantly improving solids removal efficiency and ensuring optimal tank hygiene.

  • Locking Lid: The lid locks securely in place to ensure proper positioning, added security, and to prevent animals from escaping.
  • Autoclavable Three-Piece Assembly: The tank, lid, and adult baffle can be disassembled into three parts, all of which are autoclavable and easy to clean, with no recesses or complex parts.
  • Color-Coded Larval Baffles: Larval baffles are color-coded by size—400, 700, and 1000 microns—for easy identification. Tanks also have two slots for placing these larval baffles.
